Fattoria Villa Ligi is a family winery in the Marche run by Francesco Tonelli and his son Stefano, continuing over thirty years of estate winemaking centered on rescuing historic local grape varieties. Their signature project is Vernaccia di Pergola, now identified as an Aleatico clone, guided by the family's belief that losing the last vine of a variety means losing genetic heritage forever; Vernaculum is their flagship expression of this grape.
