G.D. Vajra has farmed its Vergne, Barolo vineyards organically since 1971 under founder Aldo Vaira, whose wife Milena joined the estate in the early 1980s, making it one of the earliest certified-organic properties in Barolo. First produced between 2004 and 2007, Rosabella is a rosé di saignée made mainly from Nebbiolo with small amounts of Barbera and Dolcetto, crafted with a light touch to preserve fragrance and delicacy over deep color.
