Matthieu Barret has run his family's domaine in Cornas, in the northern Rhône, since 1998, farming twenty hectares of degraded granite hillside soils biodynamically with virtually no oenological additives beyond a touch of sulfur at bottling — an approach he describes simply as caring for the land.
Tasting Notes
Ripe pear, peach, and yellow flowers sit over a base of wet stone, giving this white real texture and depth.
