Movia has been farmed by the Kristančič family since 1820 from an estate straddling the Slovenian-Italian border, where Goriška Brda meets Collio; the property is certified both organic and biodynamic under owner Aleš Kristančič's philosophy that wine is something found in nature, not manufactured. This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the low-yielding Vinia Martinovo vineyard and ages two years in barrique followed by six months in steel.
