Nathan Kendall founded his eponymous winery in 2011 on Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes, returning home after stints in Sonoma, the Willamette Valley, New Zealand's Waipara, Australia's Adelaide Hills, and Germany's Mosel that shaped his minimal-intervention, old-world approach. The Dry Riesling draws from three Seneca Lake vineyards with vines twenty to forty years old, ferments spontaneously in neutral French oak and stainless steel, and ages on its lees until bottling the following summer.
