Guy Méa is a family Champagne house based in Louvois, one of the smallest of Champagne's 17 Grand Cru villages, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims; the estate farms seven hectares of Grand and Premier Cru vineyards. ‘L’Assemblage’ 1er Cru is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, vinified in enamelled vats for 10 months and aged almost 3 years on the lees in bottle, with a 7g/L dosage (Extra Brut).
Tasting Notes
White peach, croissant and almond lead the nose, with a hint of ginger spice. The palate is precise and lively, with a rich mid-palate resolved by vibrant acidity into a long finish and a fine, persistent mousse.
