Marco Sara is a certified-organic, 8-hectare estate in Savorgnano del Torre, Colli Orientali del Friuli. El Re is 100% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, hand-harvested, given a 15-day maceration and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, aged 12 months on fine lees with monthly batonnage.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby red with intense ripe red fruit, balsamic and floral notes; excellent structure and a smooth, well-balanced, persistent palate.
