Profile & Story

Paolo Bea, farmed organically/biodynamically by the Bea family near Montefalco, makes Arboreus from Trebbiano Spoletino trained high above the ground in the traditional Umbrian alberata system. Whole green bunches macerate on the skins for up to three weeks with no added sulfur, then age at least two years in stainless steel.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of very ripe fruit (apricot), dried flowers and honey; amphora/skin-contact texture with a deep amber-orange hue.
