Profile & Story

Praesidium is a small, organically farmed family estate run by Enzo and Lucia Pasquale in the Peligna Valley, the historic heartland of Montepulciano. The Cerasuolo is 100% Montepulciano, spontaneously fermented with about two days of skin contact and matured only in steel.

Tasting Notes

Lively cherry-pink hue with black cherry, raspberry and wildflower aromas, fresh iodine and mineral graphite notes; a full, rounded, saline palate with long persistence.
