Roagna Langhe Rosso Nebbiolo 2020

Roagna, farmed by Luca Roagna in Barbaresco and Castiglione Falletto, makes Langhe Rosso from young (20-25 year old) massal-selection Nebbiolo vines sourced roughly equally from Barolo and Barbaresco. Fermentation is in wooden vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by the estate's signature long submerged-cap maceration (at least two months) and about five years of aging in neutral oak and concrete.
