About the Wine

The blend includes Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Viognier, and Clairette. The grapes for this wine are grown mainly in stony marl and clay-limestone slope soils, which are porous and provide steady water supply. These soils warm up quickly in spring, aiding in grape maturity. The harvest is carried out mechanically at night to limit oxidation and preserve aromatic substances. Total destemming is followed by light skin maceration—especially for the Viognier—then gentle pressing. The must is settled cold before fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. The wine is protected from oxygen to maintain its aromatic potential and aged for five months on fine lees.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Bright golden yellow hue. Nose: Intense and expressive with aromas of apricot, fennel, and floral scents such as iris. Palate: Complex and very elegant; the wine’s roundness is perfectly balanced by its freshness, with a finish that reveals subtle aniseed notes.
