Fattoria Sardi farms 45 hectares in Tuscany, 18 of them under vine, with the remaining land in woodland and small plots producing olive oil, wildflower honey and apple juice by hand. Their Toscana Rosato is a blend led by Sangiovese with Merlot and Ciliegiolo, grown on sandy, clayey soils under organic and biodynamic practice.
Tasting Notes
Tuscan Sangiovese-led rosato typically shows pale pink colour with strawberry and red-cherry aromas, a dry, light-bodied palate and fresh, crisp acidity.
