Founded in 2018 by Geisenheim-trained Edgar Brutler (a Swabian family farming here since the 1850s) in the Crisana area of Transylvania; 4 ha, organic. 'Sefu' is a co-fermented field blend of Chardonnay, Riesling, Furmint and Tamaioasa Romaneasca, picked and pressed together; ~80% stainless steel / 20% old oak, unfined and unfiltered. ~11.8% ABV, ~1.3 g/L RS; loam, clay and sand soils.
