Founded in 1772, Veuve Clicquot is one of Champagne's iconic houses, and Yellow Label is its signature cuvee, balancing the four dimensions of the Veuve Clicquot style: freshness, strength, aromatic richness and silkiness. Pinot Noir gives the structure, Meunier rounds out the blend and Chardonnay adds elegance; up to 45% reserve wines (from a collection of 400 wines aged up to 30 years) ensure its consistency.
Tasting Notes
The Yellow Label Brut reveals an aromatic profile dominated by white and yellow fruits such as pear, apple and peach, with hints of citrus (mandarin, grapefruit) blending into gourmand brioche aromas. Structured by Pinot Noir, it offers flavours of pear, peach and pastry, enhanced by a touch of dried fruit from ageing on the lees.
