Tasting Notes
A pale lemon-hued lush white wine loaded with tree fruits and citrus. On the bouquet, pear, Golden Delicious apple, persimmon, and papaya prevail, bolstered by a bit of Eureka lemon. A touch of citrus blossom rounds out the aroma profile, which is reminiscent of a walk through a California valley fruit orchard. On the palate, dried tree fruit flavors — apricot, pear, apple — mingle with the fresh fruits mirrored by the bouquet — mango, papaya, and grapefruit. A little less shy than most Pinot Blancs, this wine has a moderate weight on the tongue and a long, zingy finish. It’s a fabulous sipping wine that will have you dreaming of Spring blossoms.
