Profile & Story

Marchesi Antinori, 26 generations into Tuscan winemaking, first produced Peppoli in 1985 from their Chianti Classico estate of the same name. Since 2013 part of the fruit has been vinified at Antinori's own Chianti Classico cellars.

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby red with a vibrant, expressive nose of fresh cherries, raspberry jelly and pomegranate juice, floral notes of violet and geranium, and a juicy, energetic palate with soft, sweet tannins on a long, savory finish.
