Profile & Story
Castello di Neive is a family estate in the commune of Neive, in the Barbaresco zone of Piedmont, farmed by the Stupino family since the 1960s. Their Grignolino is a small-production wine (about 4,000 bottles a year) from this native Piedmontese grape, grown mainly in the Monferrato hills.
Tasting Notes
Light, transparent ruby red with aromas of strawberry and raspberry, delicate floral notes and a slight spiciness; fresh on the palate with gentle tannins and good acidity, in the classic light-bodied, food-friendly Grignolino style.
