About the Wine

Ruchè (roo-kay) is a lesser known red wine grape primarily grown in the Piedmont region of Italy. It was not until the late 20th century that Ruchè started to regain popularity in Italy and made its way to California. Our Ruchè is grown in San Benito county, on the northern end of California's central coast. Ruchè has floral aromas with dark plum notes. a favorite pairing of ruchè is mushroom risotto. The label features family and friends enjoying each other's company. As they say in Piedmont, "If someone offers you a glass of Ruchè, it's because they want to spend time with you". 30 cases produced
