Freixenet, founded in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia in 1861, is the world's largest producer of traditional-method sparkling wine and Cava's leading exporter. Blanc de Blancs is a Cava made entirely from the three classic white Penedes grapes -- Macabeo, Xarel-lo, and Parellada -- using the traditional method (second fermentation in the bottle); it is positioned as Freixenet's creamiest, most approachable Brut style.
Tasting Notes
Pale straw-yellow with fine, persistent bubbles; aromas of green apple, citrus, and white flowers lead to a full, velvety-soft palate of baked apple and vanilla, balanced by crisp, refreshing acidity.
