Profile & Story
One of Firriato's pioneering Etna labels, sourced primarily from Carricante (the historic backbone of Etna Bianco) blended with Catarratto, grown on sandy, well-draining volcanic soils on Etna's cooler northeastern slopes. Grapes are hand-picked in mid-October, gently pressed, fermented at controlled temperature and matured three months on the lees in steel with regular stirring.
Tasting Notes
Straw-yellow with green highlights; floral notes of mimosa and broom lead into white peach and ripe pear, with a full, tangy palate and lasting volcanic-mineral freshness.
