Dugladze Wine Company, family-run since 1904 and modernized from 2004 by Dimitri Dugladze, ferments this Kisi in qvevri -- buried clay vessels -- on its skins for extended contact, following ancient Kakhetian tradition. Kisi is one of Georgia's prized amber-wine grapes. ABV 12.5%.
Tasting Notes
Amber-gold in color with a rich, silky texture; dried stone fruit notes carry through a full, structured palate typical of skin-contact qvevri winemaking.
