Mukuzani is one of Georgia's oldest protected appellations for dry red wine: 100% Saperavi grown in the Mukuzani micro-zone of Kakheti and traditionally aged in oak. Mildiani Family Winery's Mukuzani comes from the Alazani Valley.
Tasting Notes
Deep, intense ruby with garnet hues. The bouquet opens with classic Saperavi character, followed by ripe red fruit and wild berries -- cornelian cherry, black plum, sour cherry, and blueberry -- with subtle oak adding complexity. Full-bodied and velvety, with firm tannins and vibrant acidity carrying into a long, persistent finish.
