This Mukuzani is a controlled-appellation dry red from specially selected Saperavi grapes grown in the Mukuzani micro-zone of Kakheti, fermented in qvevri -- buried clay vessels -- according to ancient Georgian methodology, then aged in oak.

Tasting Notes

Aromas typical of the Saperavi variety with notes of ripe cherry, almond, and vanilla; a velvety tannic structure combines with oak notes on a long finish.
