About the Wine
Fermentation on the skins for 15 days at a controlled temperature (below 28°C) in 2 short and wide stainless steel tanks. A total of 4 years of aging: 2 years in 2 Allier oak casks of 30 and 10 hl and one 5hl tonneau, bottled on April 12, 2017 and then refined in a bottle in a temperature-controlled storage room. Production of vintage 2014: 6'000 bottles
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red of great intensity. The varietal notes of the Sangiovese are enhanced in an elegant and harmonious way by the tertiary aromas of the aging. The body is balanced with good acidity and a delicate tannic texture. Finesse and elegance stand out in a not particularly powerful vintage. Long, clean, and sapid aftertaste.
Pairing Recommendation
This beautiful Brunello would pair with mesquite-grilled steak or pork roll stuffed with chopped rosemary.
