Profile & Story
Alta Mora is Cusumano's dedicated Etna project, launched in 2013 when brothers Alberto and Diego Cusumano acquired their first parcels on the volcano's northern slopes, rebuilding traditional dry-stone terraces at Guardiola. The Etna Bianco DOC is 100% Carricante, farmed via alberello and espalier training at 600-750m in the Verzella and Pietramarina contrade around Milo and Castiglione di Sicilia, where the cool, high-altitude volcanic site allows full ripening while preserving aromatics.
Tasting Notes
Pale gold Carricante from Etna's volcanic slopes; citrus and orchard-fruit aromas laced with a distinct wet-stone, ashy minerality, taut acidity and a saline, mineral-driven finish.
