Profile & Story
Jean Guyon acquired the original 2-hectare Chateau Rollan de By in the northern Medoc in 1989; Domaines Rollan de By has since grown to 185 hectares across several chateaux. The 2014 blends 70% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot, aged 12 months in French oak (two-thirds new, one-third one-wine barrels), with 3 months on lees and batonnage. 13% ABV.

A generous, food-friendly Medoc, savory, velvety and seductive, with a soft, open attack carrying through to a warm finish.
