This Alvarinho comes from the plot that gives Soalheiro its name, the estate's first vines, planted in 1974, blended with fruit from vineyards over 30 years old across Moncao and Melgaco. Fermentation is mostly in stainless steel, with about 15% in old oak barrels, then aged on lees with batonnage for added complexity.
Tasting Notes
Bright lemon-to-golden yellow, with concentrated ripe-fruit aromas carrying buttery and spice notes; the palate is vibrant and tropical in youth, full-bodied yet balanced by crisp acidity.
