Profile & Story
Vina Cobos was founded by Paul Hobbs with Argentine partners and has worked since 1988 to express distinct Mendoza terroirs through small-lot winemaking. Cocodrilo is the estate's more accessible entry tier; the Corte bottling is a Cabernet Sauvignon-led red blend from vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, aged about 15 months in French oak.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red with dark garnet hues. The nose shows sweet spice, roasted red pepper, clove, and dark chocolate; the palate is balanced and juicy, with sweet, silky tannins and a long finish.
