Champagne Dosnon, run by Davy Dosnon in Avirey-Lingey in the Aube's Côte des Bar, is known for Pinot Noir fermented in used Puligny-Montrachet barrels. Récolte Noire is a 100% Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs aged a minimum of two years in bottle.
Tasting Notes
Fresh, active and persistent, with crushed red fruit, toasted brioche, graphite and a mineral, chalky finish from the house's Kimmeridgian soils.
