Alpha Estate farms a single, privately-owned vineyard on the Amyndeon plateau in Greek Macedonia at 620-710 meters elevation, within the Florina PGI zone. This Sauvignon Blanc sees several hours of skin contact, controlled fermentation in temperature-jacketed stainless steel, and four months on its lees with regular stirring for texture.
Tasting Notes
Brilliantly light yellow with greenish tints, showing a lively, classically varietal nose of gooseberry, passion fruit, melon, and lychee with a touch of honeysuckle; the palate is round and mellow, well balanced with plenty of finesse and a hint of lime.
