Bishop's Peak is the second label of Talley Vineyards, conceived by Brian Talley in 1999 to share the same integrity and purity of fruit as the estate wines at a more accessible price. The 2023 is drawn from Talley's Chardonnay vineyards in the San Luis Obispo Coast AVA — Oliver's Vineyard, Monte Sereno, Las Ventanas and Rincon Vineyard — and is SIP Certified Sustainable and vegan, fermented with native yeast in a combination of neutral oak barrels and stainless steel, with partial native malolactic fermentation and six months of aging in stainless steel and neutral French oak.
