Profile & Story

Azienda Agricola Luca Ricci is a family estate at Collalto di Susegana in the province of Treviso, where a grandfather who was an oenologist and a father who was a grower gave way to Luca Ricci himself, who now runs the vineyards, cellar and a small inn on the property. The Prosecco DOC Brut is Glera with complementary varieties grown on clayey soil trained to Sylvoz and picked between 10 and 20 September, with a maximum yield of 18,000 kg per hectare. Soft pressing without the skins is followed by static settling and temperature-controlled first fermentation in steel, a 30-day prise de mousse by the Charmat method and two months of maturation. The finished wine is 11% alcohol with 10 g/l residual sugar and 5.20 atmospheres of pressure.

Tasting Notes

Clear straw yellow with a fine, lingering perlage and a rich mousse. The bouquet shows notes of cedar and white peach, the first spring flowers and wisteria. Fully in line with the Brut type, the wine is dry but with an amazing finesse, and every sip highlights its quality and freshness.

Pairing Recommendation

Particularly suitable to accompany delicate cold cuts and cheeses, sushi or seafood dishes.
