Domaine des 2 Anes was founded in 2000 by Magali and Dominique Terrier, who left their previous careers to build a new vineyard on the Corbieres terroir at Peyriac-de-Mer, staying true to the two donkeys that had accompanied them - hence the domaine's name. The 20-hectare estate is farmed organically and Demeter-certified biodynamic. Fontanilles is a blend of Carignan, Grenache Noir and Syrah, hand-harvested and destemmed, fermented spontaneously and raised without any oak, letting the fruit and garrigue character of the terroir speak plainly.
