About the Wine

The Linda Vista Vineyard is located in Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District, one of the region’s coolest AVAs, ideally suited for producing Chardonnay with freshness and structure. Farmed organically by esteemed viticulturist Steve Matthiasson, the site features alluvial silty loam soils and benefits from strong afternoon breezes that help retain natural acidity. The Olmo clone grown here is known for its high-acid, citrus-forward character, which expresses itself beautifully in cool vintages. Total SO2: 72 ppm. Free SO2: 21 ppm. 2023 was the coolest growing season in Napa Valley in over two decades, resulting in a longer ripening period that allowed for heightened aromatic complexity, brilliant natural acidity, and finely tuned balance. This vintage shows remarkable freshness and poise, making it a standout expression of Linda Vista Vineyard’s terroir. Free SO2: 21 ppm Total SO2: 72 ppm
