Profile & Story

Andria's Gvino (Chateau Khashmi) is a family estate in the village of Khashmi in Georgia's Iori Valley, founded in 1984 by Alexander Wolski and continued today by his son George -- four unbroken decades of organic viticulture, native-yeast qvevri fermentation, and no additives, filtration or added sulfites. This cuvee is Mtsvane from the Kakheti estate vineyards, fermented on its skins in qvevri.

Tasting Notes

A big, powerful yet balanced and elegant orange wine, with bright acidity and easy tannins; flavors of apricot, honeydew melon, orange blossom, nuts, spice, wood and a touch of minerality.
