Christina is the entry label of Weingut Netzl, run by Christina Artner-Netzl alongside her parents Franz and Christine in Gottlesbrunn in the Carnuntum region east of Vienna. The family farms organically, and this Gruner Veltliner grows on iron-rich red gravel and loess soils cooled by winds off the nearby Danube. The grapes are hand-picked, pressed as whole bunches, and fermented spontaneously in stainless steel, then bottled unfiltered after a single racking to preserve the lees.
