Profile & Story

Bodega Dehesa de Luna farms a 3,000-hectare organically certified estate in Castilla-La Mancha where only a third of the land is planted, the vines sharing the property with olives, almonds, pistachios, lentils and cereals; the winery is a member of the Spanish Association of Organic Wineries. Luna Lunera is its youngest, most casual range, conceived for soft, fresh and fruity tastes, organic and vegan and bottled under the PGI Vino de la Tierra de Castilla. Fermentation and maceration ran nine days at a maximum of 25C, aimed at good colour extraction, preserved fruit aromas and a judicious extraction of tannin; malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel, and the wine spent about three months in French and American oak barrels.

Dehesa de Luna serves it with appetizers, tapas and Spanish pinchos, and as an accompaniment to salads, rice, pasta and white meats.
