Filipa Pato, working alongside her husband William Wouters, makes wines in Bairrada, Portugal under a simple guiding philosophy: authentic wines without make-up, honest expressions of the vineyards they come from. The 3B Rosé is a traditional-method sparkling wine made from 86% Baga and 14% Bical grown on the region's chalky clay soils; primary fermentation takes place in tank with wild yeast, followed by a second fermentation in bottle and nine months of aging on the lees, with no dosage added at disgorgement.
Tasting Notes
Pale salmon-pink in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse, this Brut Nature rosé shows notes of strawberry and pomegranate with subtle toasted, bready hints from its lees aging; the palate is creamy yet bone-dry, with bright minerality and a refreshing finish.
