Profile & Story
GraWü is a small natural-wine estate in Alto Adige founded in 2013 by Leila Graselli and Dominic Würth, who had previously made wine in Bordeaux, Montalcino and the Marche before settling in South Tyrol. Ambra is made from Souvignier Gris, a disease-resistant grape variety grown on the estate's gneiss and granite soils; the fruit undergoes spontaneous fermentation and spends eight months on its skins before aging in neutral old oak.
