Profile & Story
Juso's Winery is a small family estate in Kakheti, Georgia, built by brothers Lasha and Giorgi Khvedelidze in 2017 to revive their family's winemaking tradition; the wines are named for their grandfather Juso. This Saperavi is made from organically grown grapes from the village of Vardisubani, fermented on the skins for six months in traditional Georgian qvevri, following the ancient method still practiced in the estate's small cellar of seventeen qvevri.
Tasting Notes
A medium-bodied red with an intense aroma of forest berries, blackberry and cherry, carrying through to a long, elegant, tannic finish typical of qvevri-aged Saperavi.
