The Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta estate farms the Monferrato hills surrounding the village of Rocchetta Tanaro in Piemonte. Futurosa is a rosato blending Barbera and Merlot grown on separate estate parcels; the two varieties are vinified separately with a short, 24-to-36-hour skin maceration and fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks, combining Barbera's structure and acidity with Merlot's roundness and power.
