Weingut Netzl is an organic-certified estate in Gottlesbrunn in Austria's Carnuntum. This orange wine, bottled as 'Wilde Liebe', was made by Christina Netzl, who describes letting the grapes and the wine go completely wildly and with a lot of love. It blends Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Welschriesling from gravel and gravelly loess soils, open-fermented on the mash for three weeks and then aged six months in old barrels with no added sulfur. Unfiltered and naturally cloudy. Alcohol 12%.

Pairing Recommendation

Pairs with everything with a lot of spice and character, intense cheeses, or not-too-sweet desserts. Best served in a large Burgundy glass.
