Winzergenossenschaft Konigschaffhausen is a growers' cooperative founded in 1933, recently affiliated with the Kiechlinsbergen co-op, with roughly 370 member growers farming about 204 hectares. This Blanc de Noirs is Pinot Noir grown on the volcanic soils of the Kaiserstuhl in southern Baden and vinified as a white wine without skin contact. It ferments in stainless steel and ages on the fine lees, with a hint of residual sugar before bottling.
