Profile & Story
Acinum is a Veneto label built around the historic wine areas of Valpolicella and Soave, a collaboration between the Edoardo Montresor family's vineyards and winemaker Enrico Paternoster's oenology, imported to the US by Vias Imports. The Prosecco Rose DOC is a millesimato (vintage-dated) blend of 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Noir; the venue's printed menu carries no vintage year, so none is recorded here despite the DOC's vintage-dated designation.
Tasting Notes
Powdery pink in color with soft red-fruit notes -- candied fruit, redcurrant and strawberry; balanced acidity keeps it fresh, with a savory edge of flower petals and dried strawberry.
