Profile & Story
Founded in 1870 by traveling wine merchant Bartolomeo Zeni, the Zeni estate is now run by the fifth generation (Elena, Federico and Fausto) from its main base in Bardolino on Lake Garda. The Vigne Alte Lugana is 100% Turbiana grown on the clay-and-limestone hills of the Lugana zone on the lake's southern shore.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with a greenish tinge; an intense, rich bouquet of peach and citrus leads to a fresh, full-bodied and delicate palate.
