Profile & Story

Founded in 2010 by the Hess family in the Calchaqui Valley near Cafayate, Salta, Bodega Amalaya farms at roughly 1,800 meters altitude, among the highest vineyards in the world.

Tasting Notes

Rounded out with small amounts of Tannat and Petit Verdot and partially aged in oak, the wine shows vibrant purple hues, ripe aromas and a touch of spice, with an intense, broad, juicy palate and a black-fruit finish.
