Profile & Story

80% Tannat and 20% Malbec Chakana Winery is located 3,149 feet above sea level at the foothills of the Andes Mountains in Agrelo, Mendoza. It is one of the leading projects among the new generation of winemakers dedicated to the discovery and expression of the Andean diversity of climate and soils. Chakana, who is certified biodynamic, owns 120 hectares of vineyards, spread across sites in Lujan de Cuyo and Valle de Uco. ABOUT THE WINE Sobrenatural is a new line of certified organic and no Sulphur added wines from Chakana’s Nuna vineyard. The wine boasts deep, dark fruit aromas, firm tannins balanced by a juicy, soft texture, good acidity, and length.

Tasting Notes

Refreshing aromas of blue fruit, violets and crushed stone. Medium-bodied, juicy and vibrant with delicious fruit and hints of fine herbs and white pepper to close. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. No sulfites added.
