Tinaktorogos is a Greek grape variety old enough to be mentioned by Homer, indigenous to Ancient Olympia and cultivated uniquely by Ktima Brintziki for over 20 years. Winery located in Latzoi, Ilia, near Ancient Olympia; organically cultivated by centuries-old traditional methods on clay soils. Recognized in 2012 as Greece's first 'green winery,' using geothermal and photovoltaic energy.
Tasting Notes
Impressive acidity in a round, delicate style. Lemon flowers and tropical fruits with a long-lasting aftertaste.
Pairing Recommendation
Goes well with poultry, salads and white cheese. Best served at 10-12C.
