Produced by UWC Samos, carrying the legacy of Greek winemaking tradition from prehistoric times to the present. A sun-dried sweet wine made from over-ripe, sun-dried White Muscat grapes, aged 6 years in oak barrels. 'Nectar' is an official Samos PDO designation distinguished from Vin Doux Naturel by its sun-drying and longer oak aging.
Tasting Notes
Notes of raisins, honey, and roasted nuts with a complex finish revealing tobacco, butterscotch, walnut, and ripe orange, with subtle hints of clove. Serve 12-14C.
Pairing Recommendation
Sweet and sour dishes, rich desserts featuring chocolate, caramel or nuts, aged and smoked cheeses, or as a dinner finale.
