'Melitino' is an exceptionally rare wine, the only dessert wine produced from sun-dried grapes of the Zakynthino variety, made from an old, privately owned, ungrafted, pre-phylloxera vineyard in the Eleios area of southern Kefalonia. Vines are hand-cultivated organically with goblet training in dry-farmed conditions. ABV 12%. Annual production 1,800 bottles.
